Whether you’ve been part of a church family for years or have never stepped foot in one before, we understand that visiting a new church can feel overwhelming. You might be wondering: What will the service be like? What should I wear? Will my kids be okay? We’re here to make your experience as comfortable and meaningful as possible.
What time are the services?
Sunday mornings at SBC start off with Java and Jesus at 9:30 a.m., this is a great time to grab a cup of coffee (or juice) and a pastry while you fellowship with others. Sunday School Classes for all ages start at 10:00 a.m., followed by our morning worship service at 11 a.m. Our Sunday Evening are spent Diving Deep into the Bible. Everyone brings snacks to share and we meet in the fellowhip hall at 6:00p.m. On Wednesday evenings, you’re invited to join us for food and fellowship at 6:00 p.m, followed by Service at 7:00 p.m.
What should I wear?
SBC is a “come as you are” church and we have a very casual environment. Wear what you feel comfortable in. We’re excited to welcome you! Whether you’re in jeans or a suit, what matters most is that you’re here to connect with God.
What’s the Music Like?
Worship at SBC consists of a mix of traditional hymns and contemporary music.
What is the Message like?
Every message is rooted in Scripture and delivered with clarity and compassion. We believe the Bible speaks to real life, expect to be challenged, encouraged, and inspired.
What about our kids?
We love kids and we know they need space to move, play, and learn. At SBC we have:
Nursery Services (0-3 years old) are available during Sunday School and Church.
A children’s ministry that helps them grow in faith while having a blast.
Sunday School: Children have their own Sunday Schools lesson
What about our teens?
Middle School and High School students meet in the youth area of the original sancturary for Sunday School. They join the rest of the congregation for Sunday Morning Worship. Wednesdays the teens will join the congregation until Worship is over and then they will be dismissed to youth room.
